Our engagement photos

We had our engagement photos taken a couple week ago. The photographer chose a park in Lehi for the photo shoot. The park is across the street from the Timpanogos temple. In the morning I had my second bridal dress fitting. There is one more fitting before the dress will be completely done. I am so excited!!! After the fitting, my friend Sara helped me with the finishing touches on my nails and hair for the engagement photos. This was a busy weekend, but Steve and I had a fun weekend together. Steve is a Honor Guard

In the spring of this year, Steve completed his Honor Guard training. He works for the Park City Fire Department and one of his first assignments as an Honor Guard was to march in the Park City 4th of July Parade. They marched down Main Street, opening the festivities for the day. The whole family came to watch Steve serve in his Color Guard duty. After the parade, we enjoyed hot dogs and hamburgers at the Main Street Fire Department. It was a fun way to spend the holiday.

We visited Temple Square in Salt Lake City today. We had fun walking around the grounds of the Salt Lake Temple and dreaming of being engaged ... While we were at Temple Square, we visited with Steve's mom at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for a while.

24 hours after our engagement

This picture was taken about 24 hours after Steve proposed. Steve surprised me. I didn't think he would propose right then. We were walking along the beach ...
