Sistah's of the EMM reunite at last.

These lovely former servants of the Lord and I gathered together Friday night to enjoy an evening of spiritual upliftment through talks given by our newly returned mission president and wife, refreshements, music and chatting as only British sisters would "chat".

Myself, Sisters Bull, Gubler and Hemingway.

Sister Kaluzna and I (MTC comps.) reunite after 2 and 1/2 years of distance. This Canadian frequents the same church building as Maren.

Sister Rupp, my grandchild whom I had never met until Friday. She is the daughter of my younger daughter, Sister Mays.

Those Blessed Birthdays :)

This last week on the calendar is and always will be a fun one for Steve and I as our birthdays are 6 days apart. Last Sunday was mine, and Steve was my chef for the whole 24 hours of it, making my favorite strawberry salad and cake- strawberry short cake and his glorious 7-layer dip. We had a couple of friends over, mac and margaret, who margaret happens to share the same birthday as me. same year and everything... and... she is a twin! Believe it. The next day when in primary our sweet little primary children sang to us "happy, happy birhday" :) which was such a treat. That evening we went to the Jensen's house to celebrate mine, Steve's, his sister Cathy, and niece Savannah's birthday with dinner, cake and ice cream and family. (Big family= lots of birthdays :) I love birthdays...ya' always feel so loved from friends and family phone calls, cards, birthday wishes and especially now, the thoughtful sentiment and sweetness of a dear husband :) It was great.
And yes, this is Steve wearing my flowery apron.

Steve's seven layer dip is what initially attracted me to him at that Super Bowl party where we first met. Something about the way he spreads that guacamole :)

Our precious, beautiful little nieces.
